Au revoir to the Yellow Brick Road.
The Trolley Song, Judy Garland:
Clang, clang, clang went the turnstiles,
Ding, ding, ding clinked the change,
Whrrr, whrrr, whrrr went the rattles,
The moment I saw the Vic I fell.
Chug, chug, chug went the Endean,
Bump, bump, bump went the Garbutt,
Chop, chop, chop went the Welbourne,
When they scored I felt the Shrodells shake.
They all stayed on with me,
And it was good even to stand,
With the crowd chanting "Come on you 'Orns" of mine,
TIll the end of the line.
Thanks for your friendship, Ken. Mike Cook.

I have known dear Ken for 65 years. He was my Watford football buddy & former local football team mate in several local teams.
I will miss his regular phone calls where we discussed our love of Watford Football Club.
RIP dear friend. Mick & Jo King x

Kenny G
A Super nice man, a harmless fella - I really hoped you’d live forever !
You kept the boot room as your own, postcards, memories and a kettle from home
Your handwriting I’ll never forget
A nicer man I have not met
An always happy man never sad
But boy you could make Nan & grandad mad
He had his funny quirky ways
An emphatic supporter when Watford played
A poem for you as we say our final goodbye
You’ll no longer be the first at the gate to say Hi
Vicarage Road say goodbye to Kenny g the truest Watford fan there ever could be !
